13:36Now PlayingNew York State Senator Julia Salazar has drawn the ire of Roland Martin for a series of tweets she posted on Tuesday night that essentially tried to disregard Black voters in deep red southern states that did not support Bernie Sanders on Super Tuesday.
One of Salazar's offending tweets reads: "To be clear I mean the presidential primary, which I do not associate with other federal Democratic primaries because in my state they’re 2 months apart. But Espy also endorsed Joe Biden so I also don’t care much what his political commentary is "
Roland explained “what she is saying is we're gonna win them States in November anyway so why are we even listening to the people who vote in these deep red states cuz they not gonna matter.”
Roland Told Salazar and other Bernie supporters, "What you not gone do is sh** on Black people."
He later added, "If you sh** on black people who voted for Joe Biden in Mississippi, you sh*ttin' on 6 you sh*tting on Bob Moses, you sh*tting on the Mississippi Democratic Freedom Party all these black people who've been fighting all these years."
