Africans Vs Chinese? Africans Are Being Evicted, Harassed & Humiliated Amid COVID-19 Fears In China

A group of African ambassadors in Beijing are raising concerns about how Africans are being treated in China in the midst of the global coronavirus outbreak.

Africans are being harassed and humiliated although they're following local policies designed to stop the spread of the COVID-19.

Africans from Togo, Nigeria and Benin had been evicted from hotels in the middle of the night; a group of African students was forced to take tests despite not having traveled recently, and others reported being threatened with having their visas and work permits revoked.

Karen Attiah, Global Opinions Editor at the Washington Post spoke with Roland Martin about how Africans are being treated in China amid fears of a second wave of COVID-19.
