Early data that was released Wednesday from a global study revealed that patients who were given the drug, were less likely to die and recovered faster. However, there was another study released the same day in the British medical journal, The Lancet, which found no clinical benefits to the drug.
During Thursday's edition of #RolandMartinUnfiltered, Roland spoke with Dr. Taison Bell, Critical Care and Infectious Disease Specialist at the University of Virginia about the promise of Remdesivir.
