President Biden answered the question during a CNN town hall Tuesday night in Wisconsin, exacerbating several Democratic congressional leaders who continue to aggressively push for the amount.
Biden has earmarked forgiving $10,000 in federal student loans but many, like Rep. Ilhan Omar who Tweeted her stance Thursday morning, believe he has the power to forgive more.
