Unemployment has declined from 6.2% to 6 percent as the increase in payrolls climbed for the third straight month.
The leisure and hospitality industry saw the most growth in jobs with an 18.5% increase, followed by government at 5.4 %.
Economist William Spriggs from Howard University spoke with Roland about the March jobs report during Friday's edition of #RMU.
