Saving American History Act? Republicans Introduce Bill To Defund 1619 Project Curriculum

Aren't Republicans supposed to be against defunding things?

Republican Sen. Tom Cotton with the help of his cohorts, including Senators Thom Tillis, Tommy Tuberville, and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, has introduced a bill to defund the 1619 project curriculum.

The Saving American History Act would prohibit federal funds to teach the 1619 Project by K-12 schools or school districts.

Schools that teach the 1619 Project would also be ineligible for federal professional development grants.

Cotton also had the audacity to say racism in the U.S. military did not exist until the Biden administration entered the White House.

He also appeared on Fox's "The Ingraham Angle" to talk more about whistleblowers and his opposition to implementing critical race theory in the military.
