28:10Now PlayingPresident Biden and a bipartisan group of senators have agreed to a $1 trillion infrastructure plan.
Over eight years, $1.2 trillion will finance transportation, water, and broadband infrastructure.
The funds will come from public-private partnerships, existing federal funds, and revenue collected from enhanced enforcement at the Internal Revenue Service.
Unlike Biden's originally proposed $2.3 trillion infrastructure package, the new package does not include funding for home care, housing, workforce development, childcare, and education.
But, many Democrats have expressed their concerns with the deal. Sen Bernie Sanders says there won't be any movement on the bipartisan deal until there is "firm, absolute agreement" on a reconciliation bill.
Senators Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema want to draw up a reconciliation plan as well.
