Dennis Stewart and Terence Richardson claim Walmart caused them mental and physical distress after they were handcuffed and questioned when attempting to return a $300 television.
A store associate called the police on the men accusing them of stealing the television and not taking their receipt as proof.
Police eventually released the men.
Stewart and Richardson call the experience "dehumanizing" and are suing the billion-dollar corporation for racial discrimination, false arrest and imprisonment, and breach of contract.
