Robert Gilliam, the third, was visiting the state in November 2019 when a state trooper stopped him after receiving a call of a stolen vehicle.
In the video, you will see former Trooper Parker Surbrook letting his K-9 partner repeatedly assault an unarmed Gilliam.
In March, Trooper Surbrook was charged with felonious assault.
On Monday, Robert Gillium, III and his attorney, Maurice Davis, from Detroit, Michigan spoke with Roland Martin about the heinous attack.
