Georgia Democrats say they would rather keep up confederate statues before considering building a statue for U.S Justice Clarence Thomas.

State Republican lawmakers in the peach state are pushing forward to build a statue of the conservative Supreme Court Justice at the state Capitol.

However, Democratic lawmakers aren't feeling the idea.

Thomas is a Georgia native and is the longest-serving member of the supreme court.
