The jury could not reach a unanimous verdict on whether Henry Lee Copeland, Rhett Scott, and Michael Howell were guilty of felony murder, involuntary manslaughter, false imprisonment, and aggravated assault charges related to the death of Eurie Martin.
The trio tased Martin 15 times in four minutes after Martin refused to stop for them while walking to visit relatives on July 7, 2017.
The defendants remain free on bond while prosecutors decide if they will retry the case.
