That was not the case. After being detained in several ICE facilities for over two years, Silva was deported back to the Dominican Republic last week, while his mother, children, and sibling remain in the U.S.
Peter M. Isbister, an attorney with the Southern Poverty Law Center spoke with Roland Martin about this disturbing case during Friday's edition of #RolandMartinUnfiltered.
