New Opportunities in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to Build Equity, Wealth, and Repair the Damage of Systemic Discrimination and Neglect
The CBC Transportation Braintrust meets periodically to discuss transportation priorities and the needs of our communities. We also collaborate with minority transportation officials, experts and leaders from across the country. As we work to implement the historic Bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, our next Braintrust meeting will include featured speaker, Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg, and will also showcase Black and Brown leaders across the Department of Transportation who are driving the implementation of this law. The CBC worked incredibly hard on the inclusion of targeted investments for disadvantaged communities and transportation equity to address persistent patterns of discrimination and inequities. This Braintrust meeting will provide helpful details about how we can connect these new opportunities with the communities who need them most.
