New research from the National Institutes of Health shows how minority populations experienced more symptoms and health problems related to long COVID. The study looked at the health records of 62,339 people who received a positive COVID-19 test between March 2020 and October 2021. Evidence shows that participants who developed severe COVID and required hospitalization were disproportionately Black or Hispanic.
