Angel Pittman planned to start a mobile hair salon company using three school buses she purchased. Pittman alleges her angry white neighbor broke windows, stole two catalytic converters, slashed wires and tires, destroyed the transmission, smeared urine and feces, and wrote racial slurs on the busses.
Pittman got into a heated exchange with her neighbor in January and believes he is the neighbor behind the attack. She says he has Confederate flags, swastikas, and KKK signs in his yard.
Pittman reported the attack; however, the Rowan County Sheriff's Office told her they would not pursue the case without eyewitnesses or a video.
Pittman set up a GoFundMe and raised over $100,000 to fix the damages.
