The former Los Angeles-area gang leader charged with killing hip-hop music icon Tupac Shakur in 1996 in Las Vegas goes before a judge on Tuesday with hopes that he can be released on bail to house arrest ahead of his trial in June. Duane “Keffe D” Davis is due in court with the defense attorney he hired last month. Davis is 60 and originally from Compton, California. He's the only person still alive who was in the car from which shots were fired in the September 1996 shooting that killed Shakur and wounded rap mogul Marion “Suge” Knight.
