Cell phone video captured the encounter where Mitchell was pinned to the ground by security guards outside of a Hyatt Regency in Milwaukee. The video appears to show guards hitting Mitchell in the head. Mitchell's mother believes he was suffering from a mental health episode.
The Milwaukee police referred four charges of felony murder to the D.A.'s office in the death of D'Vontaye Mitchell. Civil rights attorney Ben Crump spoke with Roland Martin Unfiltered guest host Candace Kelley about the Mitchell case.
