Obama CRUSHES Trump’s Contempt, 'BOTCHED' COVID Response & Divisive Agenda | Roland Martin

During a special appearance on the #WinWithBlackMen call, Barack Obama delivered a blistering rebuke of Donald Trump, calling out his failures on several fronts, including his divisive rhetoric, legislative shortcomings, and a mishandled response to COVID-19. Obama criticized Trump for what he described as "contempt for huge sections of the country" and for not showing "the compassion to move legislation that actually helped ordinary people."

The former president also called out Trump for using the politics of division to saying, "That is not the kind of politics that moves things forward."

Later on during his remarks, President Obama touted Vice president Kamala Harris as being "a champion of ordinary people, who works to provide a voice for folks who need it, who has displayed consistent excellence at every level—from being a district attorney, to being Attorney General of California, to being a U.S. senator, and now to being Vice President."

Mr. Obama added, "She is as qualified as any presidential nominee that we've ever seen, and her message is directly focused on the challenges that we face as Black men, that our communities face, and that America faces."
