Speaking during a committee hearing earlier in the week, Stansbury fiercely opposed Republican efforts to dismantle DEI programs and terminate thousands of qualified civil servants.
In a viral clip from the hearing, Stansbury stated, “I will continue to hold my Republican colleagues accountable and fight back … There is a deeper agenda going on here. Trump’s purge is a clear effort to normalize a white nationalist agenda and pass statutory language that will rewrite the checks and balances of our executive [branch].”
