According to Goldberg’s report, members of the Trump administration coordinated highly sensitive war plans in the unsecured chat.
White House National Security Council spokesman Brian Hughes told ABC News that the administration verified the chat’s authenticity. Goldberg identified participants as Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Vice President J.D. Vance, National Security Adviser Mike Waltz, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, among others.
