21:36Now PlayingOn Saturday, March 29th, Louisiana voters will decide on four proposed amendments to the state Constitution.
These amendments focus on courts, taxes, juvenile treatment within the criminal justice system, and elections for judges.
Traditionally, Louisiana experiences low voter turnout. However, early voting numbers this year are garnering attention.
According to data from the Secretary of State, 189,800 people had already cast their ballots as of last night.
Here's the breakdown of early votes by race:
Black: 69,217
White:114,381
Other: 6,202
In terms of party affiliation, Democratic voters are leading:
Democrat: 97,161
Republican: 65,094
Other: 27,545
