Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett called out Republican double standards, challenging their claims of “protecting women and girls” while pointing to silence on Epstein files, SNAP cuts, and detained children.
During a House hearing, Jasmine Crockett blasted Republican claims that they are “protecting women and girls,” arguing that the same lawmakers were silent on the Epstein files, silent on SNAP cuts impacting children, and silent on detained minors facing inadequate conditions. She also noted that while Republicans are writing legislation targeting trans athletes, there are only “10 trans collegiate athletes” in the country.
