We are here to discuss Virginia's upcoming referendum vote on April 21, which could allow the state's Democrat-led Legislature to temporarily redraw its congressional districts ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. The proposed map has the potential to help Democrats flip four seats in the U.S. House of Representatives this November.
We have an exciting show lined up. The Mayor of Petersburg will join us to discuss current events in the community.
We'll also be speaking with the president of Virginia State University about what's happening on campus and discuss how Trump's proposed 2027 budget cuts will impact students.
Additionally, we'll have conversations with Virginia State Delegate and House Speaker Don Scott, as well as Delegates Kimberly Pope Adams and Delores McQuinn. Senators Tim Kaine and Mark Warner, as well as Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries, will also be joining us.
