Alabama Republicans' attempt to dismantle majority-black districts continues. Alabama asks the Supreme Court to throw out a lower court ruling and allow the GOP-favored primary map.
The November race for Texas Senate is set. Democratic state Representative James Talarico will face Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who defeated four-term Senator John Cornyn with about 64-percent of the vote. Now, the GOP is deleting all negative ads attacking Paxton's record on crime.
The Black Maternal Health Momnibus Act was recently reintroduced as the Momnibus Act. We'll talk to one advocate about why removing that word is causing alarm.
