Trump called the press crooked, accused Meet the Press of being crooked, told Welker she was “either crooked or stupid,” and ended the interview by saying he had “had enough.” Roland Martin and the panel framed the moment as another example of Trump degrading journalists, especially Black women journalists, and argued that media organizations must stop softening his lies and call them what they are.
