Roland Martin and Rep. Hank Johnson argue that today’s Republican Party is carrying out an all-out assault on Black America. Johnson says the agenda includes healthcare cuts, job losses, attacks on voting rights, weakened civil-rights protections, and policies that disproportionately harm Black communities. He says Republicans are trying to “defund Black America,” while Trump gets richer and ordinary people are forced to choose between food, gas, and medicine. Johnson also warns that the GOP-built Supreme Court is helping entrench this agenda and that Black voters must fight back through protest and turnout.
