Roland Martin and the RMU panel called out Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton after reports that he appeared to vote in six elections using an address where he no longer lives. The segment highlighted that Paxton built his career chasing so-called voter fraud, while his own office publicly stated that misrepresenting residency on election records is illegal. Roland connected the allegation to the ongoing prosecution of Crystal Mason, whose vote was not counted, while the panel framed Paxton’s case as Republican hypocrisy and corruption. The discussion also tied the scandal to voter cynicism, arguing that people lose faith in voting when powerful officials enforce rules on others while appearing to violate them themselves.
