Roland Martin and the RMU panel blasted a group of Republican lawmakers and conservative pundits for demanding the WNBA answer for hard fouls involving Caitlin Clark. The segment argues that white conservatives have turned Clark into a “Great White Hope” figure and are weaponizing race, gender, and privilege against a league built by Black women and other WNBA stars. Roland says the outrage is not about basketball, but about white grievance politics, selective outrage, and a refusal to respect the WNBA’s history, culture, and players.
