Summer Lee presses RFK Jr. on Black maternal health after he repeatedly retreats into broad maternal-health talking points instead of addressing why Black women are still far more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes.

Summer Lee confronts RFK Jr. over the Black maternal health crisis and refuses to let him hide behind generic maternal-health language. Lee points out that Black women are at least three times more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes than white women, that most of those deaths are preventable, and that the administration has canceled Black maternal-health research grants while proposing to eliminate Healthy Start. She also presses RFK Jr. over directives removing words such as “Black” from funding language, asking how the federal government can solve a Black maternal mortality crisis if it refuses to even say Black.

Chapter and its affiliates are not connected with or endorsed by any government entity or the federal Medicare program. Chapter Advisory, LLC represents Medicare Advantage HMO, PPO, and PFFS organizations and stand alone prescription drug plans that have a Medicare contract. Enrollment depends on the plan’s contract renewal. As a result, we do not offer every plan available in your area. Currently we represent 50 organizations which offer 18,160 products nationwide. We search and recommend all plans, even those we don’t directly offer. You can contact a licensed Chapter agent to find out the number of products available in your specific area.
