YouTube Description
as posted by the channelTexas State Representative and attorney Jolanda Jones urged viewers to think beyond repairing the damage caused by the break-in at the Harriet Tubman Museum and Educational Center on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
Speaking to Linda Harris, the museum’s Director of Engagement and Programming, Jones emphasized that there is only one birthplace of Harriet Tubman. She said the museum needs enough support to add security, protect the building and grow—not merely return to where it was before the break-in.
Jones’ appeal came as Roland Martin launched a challenge for the RMU family to raise $10,000 for the museum in 24 hours.
