What started as a joke about the Montgomery Riverfront Brawl went completely off the rails when Robert Patillo said flamethrowers solve problems and then revealed that he actually owns one.
Roland Martin kept asking if it was real. Robert’s answer was simple: of course it was real. He then showed the flamethrower, explained how it hooks up, and made it clear that he was a lot more prepared for chaos than anybody on the set expected.
The moment became bigger than just the flamethrower. It turned into a running joke about Robert being ready for the apocalypse, the revolution being livestreamed, and Roland Martin Unfiltered being the kind of Black show where something this outrageous can happen live on air.
