ILTV segment on the legislation that US President Donald J Trump just passed: changing the status of Jews to a Nationality as apposed to just a Religion.

This legislation is a step in the right direction because it allows for the targeting of the Jewish People and their homeland Israel, to be taken seriously and for legal consequences to follow. However, it is only a short-term accomplishment.

The next generation's future political and intellectual class are coming out of Universities, which have become institutions that spread the demonization, rejection, and hatred of the Jewish People (and any form of Jewish empowerment) to the masses.

Passing this bill may allow Jews and their allies to take actions now, but if they cannot communicate the story of the Jewish People in a language that resonates with the younger generation, eventually this legislation will be overturned, and the world has already seen what happens when anti-Semitism rises to the top, and to the masses, several times before.

Creating petitions, passing legislation, lobbying politicians, and demanding condemnation from insitutions is easier that impacting pop-culture and the way the youth sees the world. That is where the real fight is taking place, and we need to wake up to the reality that as of right now, we are not playing the game and doing are part to make sure that Jewish persecution NEVER happens AGAIN.

Am Israel, it is time to take our future into our own hands.
