0:29Now PlayingThe people of Britain took to the streets chanting for Keir Starmer to go, and today he went. Starmer resigned in a televised statement after coming under mounting pressure from his own Labour Party, following Andy Burnham's decisive by-election win in Makerfield. Russell Brand asked the question months ago that nobody in Westminster wanted to answer — do the people of Britain actually feel represented with political integrity by this government? The agricultural protests, the cost of living crisis, the Epstein connections, the defence resignations, and finally the streets themselves gave the answer. This would make Starmer the seventh prime minister to leave office in a single decade — a rate of churn that tells you everything about a political class that has run out of ideas, out of credibility, and out of people willing to defend it. The question now is whether the next person through the door of Downing Street will be any different at all.
