Cast Iron Chocolate Chip Cookie.
Ingredients:
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, warrmed to to room temperature
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Prep time: 10 minutes.
Cooking Time: 18-20 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix together the butter and both cups of sugar.
Make sure to cut the butter into chunks.
Stir in the Egg, vanilla, baking soda and salt.
Add in the flour and chocolate chips.
Transfer to a cast-iron pan.
Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven (use an oven mitt!) and let cool for 5 minutes before eating.
