YouTube Description
as posted by the channelThis video stemmed from my "Why don't Russian Tank Crewmen Close their hatches" video.
The answer to that was Situational Awareness or SA. You are safer when you are "Buttoned Up" in a tank, but looking out narrow vision blocks is very difficult.
Viewer commented: "This is the dumbest thing I've heard in my life. It would literally only cost a few hundred dollars to set up a tank with panoramic high resolution cameras attached to large curved LCDs that would allow for perfect 360 degree vision.
The problem is that these LCDs would need top be ruggedized to survive the harsh conditions of warfare and once you make something ruggedized, it ceases being cheap.
