1:01Now PlayingDIP or Deceptive Imagery Persuasion is the practice of using deceptive imagery to further propaganda or misinformation. This is typically done by using an out of context image or an image with an out of context quote. The beauty of the practice is that the target usually believes that they came to the conclusion by themselves.
In this case Twitter user @BowesChay uses the practice of DIP to show a large crater.
And then imply that the cathedral attack could not have been a Kh22 missile because there would be no more cathedral.
This is a classic case of Deceptive Imagery Persuasion. I've started a Cyabra scan to try to figure out the network involved and hope to have the results soon.
