YouTube Description

as posted by the channel

The Francis Scott Key Bridge is located in Baltimore, Maryland and carries I695. The bridge was struck by a container ship on or about 1:30 AM on March 26th.

The first piece of misinformation about the bridge occurred at 6:33 AM, Mar 26, 2024 by Indian Defense Analyst Abhijit Iyer-Mitra.

The tweet has since been copied and shared multiple times over the past few hours with inauthentic and AI accounts taking over to increase engagement.

This kind of misinformation is very dangerous because it "feels" true and that can be exploited by disinformation agents to twist the video's meaning.
