NOTE: This video was filmed before Hurricane Helene. While some foreign agents may have tried to spread disinformation after the disaster, I personally did not notice much foreign involvement in the first few days of Hurricane Helene.
Our adversaries will use INFODOMWAR during future disasters to harm Americans by spreading fake news, or even seeding false information about relief centers or evacuation routes. This will cause American casualties.
To counter this we must:
1. Establish AI algorithms to identify fake news.
2. Create AI chatbots that could act as the official source of information.
3. Increase public awareness of official sources.
4. Hold tech companies accountable for failure to act.
