Read about ACE here

On March 27th, an Iranian ballistic missile struck Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia. About a dozen Americans were injured. Multiple aircraft were damaged, including something we don’t have a lot of: An E-3 Sentry AWACS.

And when the photos came out… yeah… “damaged” might not be the right word.

The question isn’t whether Iran got a lucky hit.

The question is:Why were high-value assets sitting still long enough to get hit in the first place?

This isn’t a new problem. Ukraine has been dealing with this exact threat for years.

The U.S. Air Force already has a doctrine designed to solve this.

It’s called Agile Combat Employment (ACE).

Disperse your aircraft.

Move them frequently.

Make targeting harder.

So… why weren’t we doing that?
