Several health facilities have been selected for upgrade to SMART institutions. The upgrade allows them to be adaptable to changing weather patterns, and remain operational during and after extreme weather events; the Government Islandwide Network (GINet) Project is continuing to bridge the digital divide with a transformative initiative in Micoud North; and some EC$79.8 million has been allocated to the Ministry of Infrastructure for ongoing roads, bridges maintenance and rehabilitation projects.
