3:03Now PlayingPrime Minister of Saint Lucia Hon. Allen Chastanet has expressed appreciation for the diplomatic relations between Taiwan and Saint Lucia.
The Government of the Republic of China (Taiwan) made a donation of four ventilators and 3000 antibody rapid test kits earlier this week at the Owen King Hospital.
“Probably one of the most difficult things to get hold of at this particular time is a ventilator, and that is what makes this gift extremely special," he said.
Minister for Health Sen. Hon. Mary Isaac also expressed gratitude.
“Taiwan's assistance is present with many projects in almost all areas of development in Saint Lucia, and we are very grateful for it as they truly address the challenges that we face in our country.”
