3:06Now PlayingThe Ministry of Health and Wellness remains very concerned about the number of COVID-19 related deaths recorded in country. The island has recorded a total of 47 COVID-19 related deaths to date and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sharon Belmar George stated that every death is one too many. Individuals who have passed away range in ages from 21 to 91 years of age. Of the 47 deaths recorded to date 81% have occurred in the 50 plus age range and males account for the majority of deaths.
