The Act to Adapt school competition challenged secondary school students to conduct an assessment to predict the likely impact from a category five hurricane, and develop adaptation proposals to make their homes more resilient to that hurricane. The winner of the competition will receive a grant from the Saint Lucia Development Bank’s Climate Adaptation Financing Facility (SLDB-CAFF) to implement the adaptation project.
