This comes as the Ministry has observed an increase in daily COVID-19 cases over the last 14 days, with 114 new cases recorded for that period. The Ministry notes an increase in campaign related activity during that same period. With an average of seven new cases daily and only 12 percent of the population fully vaccinated, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sharon Belmar George is sounding an alert to the organizers of events to ensure strict adherence to COVID-19 protocols.
