as posted by the channelThe Renewable Energy Sector Development Project (RESDP) – launched in Morne Coubaril, Soufriere on Nov. 3 – applies concessional, multi-partner financing in support of St Lucia’s goal of 7 percent reduction in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2030.
The project will inform the government on the viability of its geothermal resource for power generation. It will also strengthen the enabling environment to scale up clean energy investments within the private sector.
The project will be implemented in Saltibus, Belle Plaine, and Fond St. Jacques.
