3:06Now PlayingFindings from the 2019/2020 STEPS survey highlighted physical inactivity as one of the causes for the increase in Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in St. Lucia.
The results from the survey was released in February by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and Elderly Affairs, which has been actively encouraging more physical activity through programmes such as St. Lucia Moves.
The health team from Region 3 was the latest to host their health activity, calling on community members to increase physical activity, get screened and tested.
