3:33Now PlayingIn preparation for implementation of the minimum wage, effective October 1st, 2024, the Minimum and Equal Wages Commission was invited to make a presentation to the staff of the Department of Labour, to educate officers on the minimum wage. The objective of the training was to prepare staff for better engagements with employers and employees, informing them of their rights and responsibilities under the new wage structure, as the minimum wage is rolled out islandwide.
