as posted by the channelThe Ministry of Health, Wellness and Elderly Affairs welcomed a delegation from the World Bank to Saint Lucia to provide technical support to accelerate the implementation of Health Systems Strengthening Project (HSSP) and the OECS Regional Health Project. The mission taking place from November 11 – 15 entails a consultation workshop for Health Financing Policy and Strategy, a review of the progress of the PBF Pilot Program to support its institutionalization, progress review of the SMARTing of health facilities and a review of the Annual Workplan and Budget of the OECS Regional Health Project. During the mission, the team will set a clear and detailed plan for meeting the project timelines and milestones, in addition to determining ways to resolve any challenges that can affect the accelerated implementation of the projects.
