as posted by the channelA team of 15 enumerators completed an intensive 10-day Paper and Pencil Interviewing (PAPI) Pre-Test Training exercise, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to conduct fieldwork for the 7th round of the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS7). Held recently at Sandals Halcyon, by the Ministry of Equity, Social Justice and Empowerment in collaboration with the Central Statistical Office (CSO), the training aimed to enhance the quality and accuracy of data collection in Saint Lucia.
MICS7, a globally recognized survey spearheaded by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), is a critical initiative designed to gather essential data on the well-being of women and children. The findings will provide valuable insights to guide policy decisions and improve social services for vulnerable populations.
