The National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) successfully facilitated a comprehensive Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training program aimed at strengthening the capacity of its District Disaster Management Committees (DDMCs). This program is a critical component of NEMO's mission to enhance community resilience and preparedness for emergencies and disasters.

The CERT training program was designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to respond effectively to emergencies within their communities before professional first responders arrive.

The training was attended by members of District Disaster Management Committees, who serve as frontline responders during disasters in their respective districts. These individuals are key to bridging the gap between community needs and national emergency resources.
